ALASKA!

I finally put our ALASKA pictures together...compacted a little more so I didn't have a zillion singles. We had such a fun get-away! Thanks to all those who helped out with the kids! These pictures are backwards...from our last to first day. oops!
Seeing the kids for the first time. Mom was so kind to bring them to us....she is seriously the best! We had been driving all day this day and were so excited to see the kids. We didn't get home till late and the kids would have been in bed, so she brought them to us. Sure love her!
Some fun shots on our ride home. There were so many vineyards in Washington. They are so pretty. Devin about died when I spotted these Elk. He had to turn around and check them out for a while...haha!
We hit up Pike's Marketplace and then went on the new Seattle Great Wheel.
Day seven we were back in Seattle. We went to the space needle.

After that we walked into town. Devin got a little carried away taking these pictures. I think we had 10 people asking us if we wanted them to take it. He liked how the people and cars were blurry in the background, haha!
We went on a horse and buggy ride. We also walked out to this light house.
The sixth day we went to Victoria, British Columbia. Such a cute victorian town.
They had sushi every night. It was my favorite! I think it grew on Devin :)
We went to the Lumberjack show - super entertaining!

Day five was in Ketchikan. It was also a colder day.
We boated out to this fun island and had a YUMMY salmon lunch. Such a pretty area.
We then went whale watching. We sat and watched 6 different whales. Pretty dang cool! We also saw some bald eagles, seals, and sea lions. The bottom right picture is of a seal catching a salmon. Pretty lucky to snap this pic!
There was a fun trail to this giant waterfall right next to the glacier. BEAUTIFUL!
Day four we were in Juneau. This was the glacier you could almost walk out to. Pretty awesome!

We were in Skagway for approx 12 hours so we decided to take a jeepin' tour to the Yukon. It was also pretty and fun to see the railroad system.

walking around the chill cat glacier...
Miles and miles and endless mountains. They were gorgeous with glaciers all over!
We took a helicopter to the Chill Cat Glacier. It was such a beautiful day. The guides told us they have only been able to go to this glacier three times this year because of the weather.
Our third day we went to Skagway. A small town, but famous for their railway system for the gold miners.
The main Sawyer Glacier at the end of the Fjord. Pretty cool seeing all the glaciers and iceburgs.

Our Second day we were on the ship all day as well but we cruised up Tracy Arm Fjord. It was GORGEOUS! We were so glad we had a balcony room. This was one of the colder days. Grateful for the hot chocolate on the ship :)
Our first day on the ship. We were at sea all day the first day. We ate lots of food, explored the ship, participated in activities, and chilled. So excited for a fun week!
These sweet kiddos all packed and ready to go to grandma's. They are so funny!
My sweet hubby helped me get all my skinny jeans out before we left for Alaska! Love him!
